Rust Problems? Holes in your floor boards large enough so that if the
brakes fail you could use your feet as emergency brakes?

I ran across an article written by Dave Horvat addressing this issue.
Dave was Vice President of MOCNA in 1984 and he wrote a 2-part series of
articles on this subject.  The article appears to be very well written,
and certainly is informative.

The two articles include 4 diagrams that illustrate the directions Mr.
Horvat is conveying..  The article seems to be in sufficient detail and
descriptive enough that a novice (me) could at least attempt the job.

The articles appeared in the October 1984 and November 1984 issues of
the MET GAZETTE.  If you don't have a copy of the those issues and would
like to get a copy of the article, please send me a stamped, addressed
envelope (SASE) and I'll copy the article and send it to you.
