I put in halogen headlights which work good but haven"t tried taillights, they might get to hot for the plastic lenses. PS If you do install halogen taillight bulbs you are not supposed to touch the bulb with your bare fingers as the oil on them will endanger the glass bulb ( heat buildup I guess from the oil) Jeff P
