Re: Halogen Lights
Nate
WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. You blew it this time buddy!
H1 is a single filament bulb used in the Hi lights of a 4 light - European
type headlight system. It is also used in A FEW fog lights or driving
lights.
H4 is a dual filament used in Hi/Lo on 2 or 4 light European type headlight
system. There are numerous different wattages. The normal one is 55/60W
(Lo/Hi) I have 80/100. They come as high as 90/130 that I have seen, and
they are still H4! I know these are not legal on the road, but they can be
bought. They should be used only in off road situations, but because of the
pattern that these lights throw, if adjusted right, they will not blind
anybody on low beam unless that person is below the centre of the headlight
or way off on the right shoulder.
