chkg w http://www.autoindulgence.com/booster.htm reveals
This relay system brightens headlights 40 to 60% over OEM wiring by bringing full alternator voltage, 13.7 to 14.2 volts, to the lights.
After installation, the dash's light switch activates the relay system.
In the average OEM wiring scheme, the alternator voltage, say 14.1 volts, goes
1. through the wire to the battery.
2. From the battery through a plug in the firewall to the light switch,
3. through the light switch,
4. from the light switch again through the firewall,
5. and out to the lights.
Each connection loses electrical energy. After all the losses, only 11.7 volts actually reach the lights. By bringing full 14.1 volts to lights, they shine 40 to 60% brighter and far whiter.

1- I'd like to order the lights, but have a question about them. Do you know if the current draw is significantly higher than the OEM bulbs?
2- OEM should be 55/100w while the upgrades run 80/100w.
3- I just got off the phone with Kevin Cho at Stereo Performance and he quoted
me approximately 7A (using 90Watts @ 12.65 volts)
from http://www.nextcollection.com/light/html/nokya-bulbs.html I got :
bulbs 9006 55w $19.95 each
bulbs 9004 60/45W $19.95 each
bulbs H4 60/55W $19.95 each
bulbs H3 55W $16.95 each
bulbs H1 55W $16.95 each
