Axle Broke !

 I was pulling away from a stop sign , when I up shifted into 2nd., the
engine ran away as I let out the clutch .

 So now I need to know any and all hints about swapping the drive axles ,
I plan to swap out the third member (pumpkin) at the same time so I can
clean out the debris , if any . 

Is it possible to replace the hub seal with out using a new bearing ? I
have new oil seals but the bearings are fine so I'd prefer not to replace
them if possible . 

 In doing this job , I will find out definitively if the Midget axles
will work as I have some at hand for comparison . 

 Again , I welcome ANY and ALL help , hints , comments , threats etc. :-)
