To me "Fret"  means to worry --- 
I figured we all shudda  nown this -- then I read the way it was used -- and I didn't understand --- I looked in Websters - "to chafe; corrode; wear away"  -- 

I learn something darn near everyday ~!  



My tire was thumping... I thought it was flat...

I asked, on behalf of another UK Met owner. Have you swapped just the
half-shaft, or the whole axle? And what is "fretting"?
