I wouldn't.  I'd use 10w30, or something like that in the engine, and use
the single grade in the transmission.  Your multi-weight oils of today are
so much better that any oil that was available when the Met was built, and
you might as well use the best.  A single weight oil is not as good to use
in the engine.
