Re: Engine & trans. oil
Go to this website:
http://www.amsoil.com
for the technical info you need for synthetic lubricants. We have used
them in our Met- engine, grease, gear lube, etc. with excellent results.
(Actually we use all products in all our cars- at last count 8.)
I personally wouldn't use anything else as we have seen first hand the
great results for our cars really lasting a long time. Our 89 Reliant
has 180,000+ miles on it and going strong (with 10 oil changes). Since
the Met sits a lot, its perfect for it for protection.
i know a while ago people on the list gave their opinions as to the cost
of it, but when you want something to last, you have to spend your
pennies. no other choice for me, AMSOIL is it.
My 2 cents (or in this case, 7.95 a quart). barb
