I got my Metropolitan on September 16 1997. It was in poor to fair condition. The last time it ran was around 1989. The car is mostly rust free. The passenger side floor is rusted through, but everywhere else seems solid. I'm just taking my time getting it back into driving shape. It needs a lot of work. The engine seems solid, and shouldn't take much to get running again.
