Hello folks.  This is the first message to the mailing list.  Hopefully it
will work (ha ha).  I've gotten a pretty good response from my 'spam' of
all you Met owners.  Thanks for bearing with me (test message, bad
subscribe address etc) while I figure the list out.  I'm usually a lot
sharper.

Anyway, there are about 13 people on this list at the moment, and it's
still growing.  I imagine maybe 20-30 people will be on it in the end. The

I'd like to hear a little bit about you folks and your Mets, so feel free
to introduce yourselves.

A bit about me; I live in Tucson, and just got a Met.  I'm not sure what
year it is, because it doesn't have a title.  I looked up the serial
number, and found out it was made in '59 although I was told by the owner
it was a '62.  It doesn't run, but with a little luck will run again some
day soon.  I've been after a Met for quite some time, so I'm pretty happy
to finally have one.
