This is what I am doing, but do your oun thing. Of course I'll do what I want, but finding that line isn't easy. For sure this is somewhat neurotic, yet I feel obligated to stay within the Metropolitan 'form', afterall, it is what drew me to it. For example, I too would like to add some gauges, but I don't feel comfortable installing plain old gauges. Aren't I obligated to stay within the '50s styling when modifying my Met? Obviously there's no answer - it's very personal - I guess I just wanted to know if anyone else had given much thought to it, and what their conclusions might have been. So, regarding gauges, I went to the autoparts store to buy a cheap temp gauge to use while getting my Met back into running form. I saw set of three gauges (water, oil, volts) and was wondering how one converts a set of 12 volt negative ground gauges to work with the positive ground setup found in a Met? Nathan Hendler
