My car was painted non original colors before I bought. It is probably
a good thing as her real colors are spruce and white. I have gotten
some grief from some Met owners that my car is no longer "real". Too
bad I also put in an electric fuel pump and seatbelts.

I've enclosed a picture for those of you who can see it. (The car's
name is Judy - the cat Wilma)
