The headlight > knob in my car doesn't turn easily enough to do it when I turn the key. Yes, my headlight knob is loose. It is the origional, old, crystalised, and nearly clear. I've got a replacement knob, but I haven't put it on yet. I have to be careful when turning off the lights, as I may turn off the engine. Anyway, with an origional knob, it is probably more likely to occur than if the knob has been replaced. I wouldn't ever put in a seperate switch for the headlights, I think they are cool just were they are. But, it is your car, do as you please.
