Okay, here's more detail on tires:
I bought 5 (4+spare) mohawk steel belted radials with white walls, Size
P155/80R13 with balancing, and valves, and full lifetime workmanship
materials warranty for installed for $168 at "America's Tire Co." a big chain
outfit.  I also spoke with Howard Tire and I can't remember the 3rd place.
 It simply wasn't a big deal.  They told me I should consider replacing the
rims, and quoted $20 ea.  They will remount the two tires when the rims
arrive next week.

How about rechroming?   Any experiences out there?
