To anyone who has never been on a mailing list before, let me assure you
that 18 messages per day is nothing.  I am on another mailing list with
sometimes 200 messages per day or more.  How do I handle the sheer volume?
The DELETE key does quite well when I need it.  Do I miss anything?  Well, I
am sure I do, but I do not know about it.  

Selective deleting - deleting a message if the subject doesn't interest you
may work as well.  

If you do not wish to read every single message, please use the filters
option offered by Nathan, or try out the digest if Nathan is willing to set
it up.  

I, personally would like to thank everyone to date for the messages posted.
I am thoroughly enjoying this list so far. I am learning a lot of the bits
and pieces about Mets that I have not been able to read about in manuals.  I
have also met some very nice people as well - people who own Mets that I
would have never otherwise had the opportunity to meet.
