I'm running Kelly P165/80 R13.   They only have a narrow White Wall.  
They seem to be OK.

Re: Ignition/light switch.   Just because some of you don't have trouble
with a light switch that wants to go on when you start the car, or
ignition switch that wants to turn of if you turn of the lights does not
mean that it doesn't happen.   In our Club here about 1/3 of the cars have
this problem.   You either learn to live with it or change your switch.  
Lubbing it doesn't seem to work.
