I was hoping that someone would answer this question.  I asked the guy at
Classic American Parts where a temperature gauge would hook up, and he
told me that there was a bolt on or around the thermostat housing.  He
thought it had a hex head, but wasn't sure.  Ok, so I went out and looked
pretty hard for something in that general area and came up short.
