I checked with a customer of mine who is a large tire distributor here and
they told me that a 5.60x13 (the size of the1500cc Mets- the 1200cc Mets
used 5.20x13) had a 23.6" diameter.   A 165/80 R13 has the same.   So
there is the Radial size needed.   They also told me that Coker Tire makes
all the old "original" tires.   They have the old molds or somthing.  
They quoted me on Vintage Firestone 5.60x13 bias ply with 2 1/4" WW.   I
won't bother with the price as I am in Canada and they would have to be
brought in from the US and with the exchange on the money it would be
irrevalant to those of you in the US.   You could check out Croker Tire if
you want but they will be a lot more money than the Radials.   Also
Radials are more comfortable.
