Its a pull starter.  You turn on the ignition at the key, then pull the
start knob.

ABSOLUTELY the most important thing you do first off is join Met Owners Club
of N America, and spend $50 oir so buying the parts manual, tech handbook
and tech tips books from sources in the MOCNA gazette advertisements.
