Put on radials.
Whitewall out. OK OK spend $150 each for wide whites if you can afford it!
BUT - using an inexpensive modern radial with whitewall out does three things:
1. Doesn't cost a fortune
2. The narrow whitewall goes really well with the chrome "Z-strip" on the
side of the car.
3. Radials give such a superior ride - its totally amazing. Radials are
the single most important thing I have done - for ride, comfort and safety.
Use P155/80R13 size and keep them at about 26psi.
