Martin Committee II Alto Sax (133127)

12/17/98 17:56:22 PST eBay auctioned for $670 (reserve not met). I emailed about this one when I saw that the reserve wasn't met. They sold it, and I don't know what they got for it, but I wish it was mine.

Here's what the seller had to say...

It has beautiful and detailed engraving on the bell including an ornate kings crown at the top of the bell a lion towards the bottom and Martin in detailed block letters This engraving is crystal clear and extends to the ring near the bow.

The thumb rest is silver and its adjustable. The bell reads Martin Handcraft Elkhart Indiana. The serial number is 133127. Above the serial number it reads Comm ll The sax has the famous Martin soldered tone holes The sax has the front high F key. The original lacquer on the sax conservatively is better than 95 percent intact.
